## Visionary architecture meets a unique clinker brick façade

### How custom-shaped bricks create striking facades

The FIEGE X-Dock in Münster’s city harbor is more than just a corporate location—it is an architectural statement. In collaboration with the renowned architectural firm Kleihues + Kleihues, an extraordinary façade was created that blends the harbor’s tradition with modernity. The innovative clinker brick architecture sets new standards and makes the X-Dock a visionary flagship project.

**Key highlights at a glance**:

- Craftsmanship meets automation: A combination of traditional craftsmanship and robot-assisted production for maximum precision.
- Development of the “Alt Münster” clinker variety: A new coal-fired clinker specifically designed for the project’s complex design language.
